Why Teach in Cornerstone?
Do you enjoy working with colleagues across disciplines and guiding students as they explore critical questions about society, the environment, and global issues?
Cornerstone brings faculty together to share ideas, strategies, and insights, promoting collegiality and enriching the teaching experience. Additionally, teaching in Cornerstone allows you to make a meaningful impact on first-year students from diverse fields, including STEM and business. It’s a unique opportunity to inspire students, possibly encouraging them to take more courses in your department or even consider a minor in your discipline.
The Cornerstone Initiative is looking for faculty to contribute in various ways, including teaching, student outreach, and program development. We invite all interested faculty to learn more about Cornerstone and how their skills and expertise can contribute to this transformative educational experience. For more information on how to become a part of the Cornerstone Initiative, please reach out to Moira Inghilleri.
